Jeffrey G. Lampert: Vice President/Business Development
Since 1981, Mr. Lampert still remains one of the foremost ESD relationship authorities and is widely recognized as a leading subject matter expert (SME) in the Static Control Flooring industry. His former company, UTP (United Technical Products) was THE FIRST flooring company in the world to invent, design, patent, and market “Conductive Carpet-Tile” and “Factory-Applied” flooring solutions for the Raised Access Flooring, Mission Critical 24/7 and Sub-Assembly Electronics Manufacturing environments.
UTP was instrumental in the development of many of the industry’s performance test methodologies, such as the AATCC-134 which measures static generation (kv rating) and the NFPA-99 (electrical resistance performance criteria) which measures static dissipation/decay. UTP defined the performance requirements regarding such terms as anti-static, “computer-grade”, static-free, dissipative and conductive in relation to generation and dissipation test results for ESD Carpeting. UTP further substantiated its technical know-how by being THE FIRST Static Control Flooring Company to invent various “RTG/RTT” grounding solutions combined with “patented” conductive releasable adhesives & copper foil strips that are widely incorporated in most Static Control Flooring specifications today!
In 1981, UTP was ranked #39 on Inc. Magazine’s list of the 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the United States and was acquired by Fidelity Investments in 1996. Mr. Lampert is a graduate of Ithaca College and joined Static Stop in 2005.
